Memories of Football: A Look Back
In my football memories, there are several moments that stand out and make me nostalgic. One of the first matches I watched live on screen was between Young Africans Sports Club and URA. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, and Yanga lost on penalties in the Mapinduzi Cup.
The first derby I watched was in October 2016, where Yanga SC and Simba SC played out a 1-1 draw. The goal for Simba SC was scored by Shiza Kichuya with a direct corner kick, and it was an exciting match.
First International Match
The first international match I watched was between Zimbabwe and Tanzania, where Zimbabwe won 3-0. It was November 13, 2016, and it was an intriguing match.
First Player to Impress Me
The first player to impress me was Thabani Kamusoko, a former player of FC Platinum of Zimbabwe and Young Africans SC of Tanzania. He had an impressive playing style.
Most Painful Match
The most painful match for me was Yanga SC vs Azam FC, where Azam FC won 1-0. Prince Dube's goal in the dying minutes of the match gave Azam FC the win, and it was a heartbreaking loss for Yanga SC fans.
Match Where My Team Lost and I Wasn't Surprised
The match where my team (Yanga SC 1935) lost and I wasn't surprised was Yanga 1-4 Simba SC. It was a tough loss, but I wasn't caught off guard by the result.
