MCE Electric is seeking organised, reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join its team as a Warehouse Picker. The successful candidates will be responsible for accurately picking, receiving, inspecting and organising stock while supporting efficient day-to-day warehouse operations.
This role is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining accurate stock and a clean, organised warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick items accurately from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify picked products against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Receive, unpack and inspect incoming stock.
- Check deliveries for correct quantities, product condition and quality.
- Report damaged stock, discrepancies or other issues to the relevant supervisor.
- Accurately shelve and organise products in designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and remains easily accessible.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.
- Participate in stock counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain clean, neat and organised shelving and work areas.
- Handle products safely and carefully to prevent damage.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Follow all company procedures, warehouse processes and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform additional reasonable duties to support warehouse operations.
Minimum Requirements
- National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent to NQF Level 4.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, stock picking or packing will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift, carry and move heavy stock when required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
