A well-established automotive logistics operation in Tokai is seeking a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Tokai Warehouse Picker Packer to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accurate and efficient parts distribution by picking, checking, packing and organising stock for workshops and customers.
This position is ideal for someone with strong numerical accuracy, good physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining high standards of warehouse efficiency, safety and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately locate and pick stock items from designated warehouse bins using picking slips.
- Verify picked parts against invoices, picking slips and order documentation.
- Pack automotive parts securely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for delivery.
- Double-check part numbers, quantities and product details to maintain stock accuracy.
- Receive, unpack and inspect incoming stock shipments.
- Organise and shelve incoming stock in the correct bin locations.
- Assist with stock management and inventory control activities.
- Support general warehouse and logistics operations as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Follow all warehouse, safety and operational procedures.
- Handle stock carefully to prevent damage, loss or incorrect distribution.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate will be highly advantageous.
- Previous warehouse experience is required, particularly within automotive, hardware or retail logistics environments.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to quickly read and identify small serial numbers and part numbers.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual warehouse duties.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Experience
Familiarity with the following will be advantageous:
- Delivery and logistics processes.
- Driving and goods transportation procedures.

Salary and Benefits
- Basic Salary: R7,845 gross per month.
- Probation: 3 months, after which the position becomes permanent upon successful completion.
- Provident Fund: MICFA Provident Fund with 7.5% employee and 8% employer contributions.
- Annual Bonus: Prorated December bonus based on length of employment.
- Annual Leave: 18 days paid leave per year.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
- Saturday: 08:00 to 13:00.
- Overtime: Available when required and paid according to MIBCO regulations.
