Job Overview

Dynamic Outsourced Solutions is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, hygienic, and professional office environment in Maitland, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of offices, common areas, bathrooms, kitchen facilities, and other designated areas while ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as required.
• Dust and wipe desks, surfaces, furniture, and other office areas.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other accessible surfaces.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms and sanitary facilities.
• Replenish toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and other consumables.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and staff areas.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen facilities when required.
• Clean and sanitise high-touch surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged facilities, and safety hazards to the relevant supervisor.
• Use cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored correctly after use.
• Monitor cleaning materials and report shortages when necessary.
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed according to required standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of employees and visitors.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Wear appropriate PPE where required.
• Assist with additional cleaning duties during meetings, events, or busy periods.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Grade 10 minimum qualification.
• Grade 12 / Matric will be advantageous.
• Previous office cleaning or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning products.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties throughout the working day.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Trustworthy, professional, and presentable.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
